Sige Subukan Mo is a Philippine film starring Ace Vergel and Maricel Soriano,released in 1998. ==Plot== David (Ace Vergel) is Congressman Ampil's (Eddie Gutierrez) adopted son and his hitman.He works for his father figure and does what he's told,be it be drive-by or silent killing. Sonya (Maricel Soriano) is a tomboyish fishmonger who always carry a balisong with her.They collided when he accidentally caused Sonya to fall on the creek with the tricycle.She left her ledger and he returned it. He was called Berting by her.And one incident when they were ambushed by a rival group,their enemy shot Sonya's younger sister (Assunta De Rossi).He rather sent her to the hospital than help his father.There she reveals that her father was killed by Ampil's men while on the line of duty.As he learned what is her secret,his trust on his father slowly slips away.As he tries to reason to his father,the latter denied him his request.A mysterious man trudges through a file case,and found a folder. David goes to retrieve the folder,although the rival group bribed him to defect,but turned it down and burned the money.He killed the lawyer and the traitor and retrieved the briefcase.He was later betrayed by his former friends and tried to kill him.He survived and hid on Sonya's house.He hid the case and the folder on Sonya's care.They were attacked by Ampil's men but they failed.His sidekick (Christopher Roxas),still loyal to him,warned David of what Ampil would do next.He was spotted by Sonya's little sister as the one she was last seen before she was shot.So Sonya furious of what David/Berting lying about his identity,was captured by Ampil.She was about to be frozen shut when David emerged.A lengthy firefight ended in a three-way duel between Ampil,David and the henchman.Ampil and the henchman died.
